Elko Arinak Dancers

The Elko Ariñak Basque Dancers have been sharing their love of dancing and Basque culture with audiences since 1968, when the first dance troupe formed. In the beginning the Elko Ariñak showcased their dancing skills at Basque festivals in Elko and Winnemucca, but have since broadened their horizons with performances in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington D.C.

Over the last 50 years, the Elko Ariñak have transformed from a small group of dancers to multiple groups, with dancers ranging for age 4 to adults. The Elko Ariñak would like to thank everybody who has shown their support over the years, whether by participating in the Ariñak, watching the dancers perform, or supporting fundraisers. Without the support from the community, the Ariñak wouldn’t be able to enjoy the many opportunities offered to them.
