Scheduled for Thursday, July 31, Sports Night at Jaialdi features international champions of traditional Basque sports. Harrijasotzaileak (weightlifters) from the Basque Country will test their strength by lifting cylinders weighing 250-400 lbs and stone balls weighing 350 pounds. Aizkolariak (woodchoppers) will test their skills against each other, and herri kirolak (traditional rural/farm sports) competitors will throw hay bales, lift wagons, hoist anvils, and carry weights.
